Moms and Dads

Making some cards today for upcoming holidays (mothers day and fathers day), used my new stamp set from CTMH, it is SO cute! Tried not to get the dad card too cute, but that was so hard! Also used paper from My Minds Eye, and a few scraps from the scrap bag!

Easter and Acrylic Cards

Another Easter has come and gone, we had a memorable day... The kids looked nice in their outfits! We have too much candy around here now!

On to the cards I made the other day, decided to try some acrylic base cards that I saw featured in Paper Crafts magazine, it was fun to do something new! (and challenging!)

Well, it turns out it was from our vacation last year, there are the kids looking at the Grand Canyon! The scenary is so pretty that it looked fake when we got the pictures back!

Wind, wind go away....

Wow, the wind is blowing in the 30's and 40's AGAIN, I am so tired of it! I wish I could stay home today and not get blown away, but I have a lunch date and I need to pick my cards up. On to my card of the day, have been humming the song "Grace Like Rain" for a couple of days, so I made this card while thinking of the words, Amazing Grace, how Sweet the sound.... I have so much to be Thankful for, thank you God for Grace that flows down over me!!! Stamp set is from Clear Dollar Stamps.

Container/ Candy Decorated

Have been working on something for the silent auction at church this weekend, the Ladies Council is raising money for something.... So I fixed this acrylic paint bucket up in bright springy colors and put hershey nuggets in co-ordinating colors inside with christian thoughts and blessings on them. The stamp set I used to make the candy labels is by Clear Dollar Stamps, it is sized to stamp perfectly on address labels and has matching accessories to go with.

Wanted to share my swap from my swap group last month, the theme was "faux stitching". My fake stitches are a stamp from Paper Studios and the stamp is Image Tree, it was my super find a few months ago at GoodWill, it was only .69 cents!
